Eduask¨s campuses offer courses in three departments: Computer Networking, Software Engineering, and Digital Arts. Students finish their studies and practicum, take final exams, and receive their certificates after three terms, completed in two years¨ time.

  I Computer Networking Department
Certificates Available: All students receive a certificate in Network Building after two terms, and can then choose to use their third term to receive a certificate in Network Security or Network Integration. These certificates are issued by the PRC Ministry of Education. In addition, after the appropriate term, students receive a beginning, intermediate, and advanced level certificate in Network Engineering from the State Department of Labor and Social Security. Furthermore, students also receive a Professional Skill Certificate from Eduask.

This course familiarizes students with computer hardware. Also teaches fundamentals of computer use, including Microsoft Windows, Office and other software. Students learn number systems commonly used in computing, and their conversions. Basic DOS commands are also covered.

 
N102 Basic LAN System Management 48
 

An introduction to applications for effective management of LAN systems, including Windows Server 2008. Students learn to manage accounts and hard drives, and create RAIDs and DFSs.

 
N103 Network Fundamentals 48
 

A study of network types and protocols. This course focuses on hardware and network installation, configuration and troubleshooting. Students learn how to configure and command routers and switches.

 
N104 Network and Server Management 64
 

Instructs students in the configuration of Windows Server 2008 servers to achieve a variety of network services. Students learn to configure FTP, email, proxy, web, DNS, DHCP, and active directory servers, and create firewalls.

 
N201 Advanced Operating System Management  104
 

Students learn the fundamentals of advanced operating systems and the processes involved in using them, and use Linux to set up networks. They also learn about converting information processes between different operating systems.

 
N202 Basic Network Database Management  48
 

This course provides an introduction in the basic construction of databases. Students learn SQL syntax, and other techniques needed to create, modify, and maintain a network database.

 
N203 Comprehensive Website Development  104
 

Practical application of website design.Students create a website using HTML code as the basis, JavaScript for dynamic effects, and CSS to format the entire page.

 
N301 Large-scale Business Networking  88
 

Focuses on the creation of business networks using equipment such as routers, switches, firewalls and VPN terminals. The goal of the course is understanding and practically using different route protocols to establish a network hierarchy between several different local area networks.

 
N302 Business Network Security  48
 

A study of the targeted use of network antivirus and firewall systems to ensure network security, information and communication. Students also learn how to encrypt data flows and manage operating system security settings.

 
N303 Advanced Business Network Management  40
 

This course teaches students about common problems that occur on computer networks, and the maintenance of a stable, high-speed network through varying filtering, troubleshooting and prevention techniques.

 
N304 Advanced Database Management  40
 

This course focuses on the setup and configuration of Oracle databases. Students learn how to manage, restore, maintain, and alter databases using the PL/SQL language.

 
N305 Dynamic Website Development 96
 

Students learn how to use Microsoft .NET Studio to develop, maintain, and manage a website using C#.

 
 
  II Software Design Department

Certificates Available: All students receive a certificate in Web-based Application Development after two terms, and can then choose to use their third term to receive a certificate in Program Design or Java Design and Development. These certificates are issued by the PRC Ministry of Education. In addition, after the appropriate term, students receive a beginning, intermediate, and advanced level certificate in Software Engineering from the State Department of Labor and Social Security. Furthermore, students also receive a Professional Skill Certificate from Eduask.

This course focuses on relational database structures. It instructs students in the installation of SQL Server, and explains its use in creating and maintaining databases. Students learn SQL commands to manage the databases they create.

In this course, students learn how to design a static web page. HTML, CSS, and JavaScript are used in the design and maintenance of the page.

 
S201 Java: Basic Design and Development 104
 

Focuses on the basic concepts of Java: Object-oriented design, graphical user interfaces, exceptions, threads, and file I/O systems. Also includes the practical application of simple Java procedures.

 
S202 Intermediate Database Development 40
 

This course introduces the advanced applications used in developing databases. Includes Transact-SQL programming, storage processes and user-defined functions as well as using indexes to improve the efficiency of database access. Students also learn how to use Java to access stored data.

Introduces .NET framework 2.0. A study of the fundamentals of C#, and its use in the development of user interfaces and client/server frameworks.

This course instructs students in the installation and configuration of PHP operation environments.It also covers the advanced use of PHP syntax in creating websites and developing databases.

 
S301 Advanced JavaEE Programming 156
 

This course introduces tools used in the JavaEE development environment. Beginning with knowledge regarding Java Server Pages and servlets, students advance to an understanding of the MVC concept and use it to develop applications. Students also learn the Spring, Struts, Ajax and Hibernate frameworks.

In this course, students are introduced to the management of large-scale Oracle databases using PLSQL.

This course is designed for students who already have a basic grasp of the English language. It focuses on improving pronunciation and fluency, as well as building up students' vocabulary.

E201 Intermediate Comprehensive English 2
 

A continuation of E101, this course begins to focus more heavily on grammar and sentence structure. Students improve their reading and writing skills by examining up-to-date materials from the English-speaking media.

E301 Advanced Comprehensive English
 

Students prepare to use English in a native-speaking environment. This course focuses on business writing, academic writing, conversational English, and the cultures of English-speaking countries.
